UWA Open Day Ambassadors and Venue Managers

UWA Open Day Ambassadors and Venue Managers

UWA Open Day is a great event being held on 9th August where we have the opportunity to promote our university to the wider community. We are seeking student volunteers to act as Ambassadors on the day. There are three key roles:

  • Roving Ambassadors (walking around campus and assisting visitors)
  • Help Point Ambassadors (staffing the Help Points under the direction of a staff member coordinator)
  • Venue Managers (supervising the use of venues/distributing and collecting surveys).

Each of these roles is important to the overall functioning of the event.

What’s in it for you?

All students participating receive:

A lunch voucher to use on the day at Guild outlets

A UWA t-shirt to keep

Full training so you understand what is required (session plus training pack)

A Certificate of Appreciation and letter from the Vice Chancellor

An invitation to the Wrap-up Function to be held at the University Club.

All Ambassadors (Help Point and Roving) go in the draw to win an iPhone to be drawn at the Wrap-up Function.

Venue Managers receive a $50 Coop Bookshop Voucher for their efforts.

When do we need you?

You can choose one of two shifts:  Sunday 9th August, 9:30-1:00pm or 12:30-4:00pm.
