UniDiscovery School Activities
<<< A group of year 11 and 12 students from Mirrabooka SHS, Aranmore Catholic College and Collie SHS spent a day on campus under the Shadow a Student programme. The visiting students accompanied first and second year UWA students to lectures, tutorials and labs, experiencing first hand what a day on campus is all about. It was a fun and informative day. >>> In collaboration with the Smith Family, a campus visit was organised for students from Gilmore College. During the visit students learnt how to deal with stress more effectively through a "Stress Less workshop" held by the Student Services Pshycology team. Students were given the opportunity to tour the beautiful grounds of UWA and hear personal insights into uni life by current UWA students. The tour was really good and to hear about the experiences of the university students was awesome! (Gilmore College Student) | ||

| <<<UniDiscovery in conjunction with Dr Nada Eltaiba conducted a day programme for students from the Australian Islamic College who had arrived in Australia either as refugees or on humanitarian visas. The varied programme included scholarship information, lunch and the opportunity to meet other UWA students. | |
>>> Aspire was held to inspire high school students to achieve their dreams by taking inspiration from our amazing guest speakers. Over 200 high school students attended the event which was held at the University Club. The best thing was learning about peoples' experiences.
