UniMentor Student Committee

The UniMentor Student Committee draws together a group of dedicated mentors who have an interest in developing the program and working behind the scenes to help staff ensure events and activities meet the needs of students.

In 2009 there are 12 dedicated students who form the UniMentor Student Committee:

Information About the Student Committee

New and existing mentors are invited to nominate to participate in the UniMentor Student Committee.  The committee runs for a year and a new committee will be formed in November each year.  Meetings will be held regularly (exact dates to be determined at the first meeting) and often alternate between day and evening meetings in order to accommodate everyone.  It is an expectation that members will attend the Committee meetings.

In 2010 there will be the following student roles:

• Student Chair
• Senior Adviser
• Training Adviser
• Marketing Coordinator (2 positions)
• Events Coordinator (2 positions)
• Mentor Liaison
• Mentee Representatives (2 positions)

Nominations for the 2009 Committee have now closed but we will start seeking 2010 members in November so stay tuned!
