What do we do?

The UniStart Team is located in Student Services and has three key functions:

Supporting and advising students during their first year in relation to:

• transition issues
• assistance with centralised processes (timetables and OLCR)
• available services and supports
• points of contact and referral

The planning and scheduling of Orientation events each semester including:

• The Commencement Ceremony/University Welcome
• Enrolment information stalls
• O week events (Faculty Welcome scheduling and other university wide events)

The production of materials about Orientation and transition for new students including:

• The UniStart Website
• Various flyers on transition and settling into uni
• UniStart information bags
