Welcome to UWA!

UniStart is all about getting you settled into uni life and feeling confident about your ability to succeed at uni. We offer a comprehensive orientation programme that we then follow up, when you need it, by linking you to other services and supports that help you get connected to the UWA community.

In Student Services, the First Year Coordinator and the First Year Adviser work within a dedicated team of people who know about transition and understand the issues you may face as a new student at UWA. Other transition programmes include UniMentor and UniSkills. Why not get a UniMentor or see if you are eligible for UniSkills? . If you have a disability or a medical condition that impacts on your ability to study or get around, the UniAccess team is here to help you settle in and provided you with information and support during your time at UWA.

Congratulations to Jennifer Phan who was randomly drawn after participating as part of the Check-In Crew at O-Quest.  She is the lucky winner of a $100 Co-op Bookshop Voucher.

The two lucky winners of the individual prizes drawn from the O-Quest participants are Disston Chee Meng Ng and Marie Brendehaug Randby (pictured right with Narelle Palmer from UniStart) who have won an 8GB i-pod nano each.

Congratulations also to Team Win who were the lucky winners of the 2010 O-Quest race during O-Week.  The team consisted of Cody, Hamish, Ben, Jeff, Elaine and Ashley and were lead by their fantastic mentor Monique.  Each member of the team receives a $50.00 Co-op Bookshop Voucher.
