Parking

The University provides a number of accessible parking bays (see below for locations). As well as recognising valid ACROD permits the University also issues accessible parking permits on a permanent or temporary basis to students who have severe mobility impairments.

Please note:

  • If accessible bays are occupied, a vehicle displaying a current University of Western Australia disability permit or current ACROD sticker can park in staff red and student yellow areas.
  • Vehicles displaying an ACROD or University disability permit are not authorised to park in Reserved, Service or Delivery areas.
  • Vehicles parked in accessible bays controlled by the local Councils must display a current ACROD sticker.

To apply for a University of Western Australia disability permit, or to obtain a map indicating the location of all accessible bays on campus, please contact the UniAccess: UWA's Disability Office Disability Office. Remember to bring with you a medical certificate, confirmation of enrolment and vehicle registration papers when making your application.
