Equipment Available For Student Use

Three computers are available exclusively for the use of Use-It card holders in the Resource Room of the Reid Library. These computers have access to the following facilities:

Laser printing (Students must supply their own paper for printing)
Scanner – Includes Text to Voice facility
Voice Activated Software (Dragon Naturally Speaking – Preferred V7.2)
20 Inch Colour Monitor
Full Microsoft © Office Suite
Internet Access
Electrically Operated Height Adjustable Tables
Ergonomic Seating
Footstools, arm supports, ergonomic keyboards etc.
Adjustable desks
Screen magnification software
Closed circuit TV unit
Angled desks
Book stands
Lockers
Mattresses
Gopher three-wheel electric scooter

In addition, two standard computers are available for use in the Student Services reception on the 2nd Floor of the Guild Village. Students must supply their own paper for printing.Other equipment is available to borrow via the Disability Office.
